In line with and notwithstanding any terms and conditions entered into between the Client and CMBI. The Client understands that the Client may have been or may in future be requested to supply personal information from time to time to the Company relating to the Client, and in the carrying out of transactions contemplated under any agreements with CMBI, further information shall or may be collected by CMBI.
The Client understands that a request for the Data on any request form or otherwise shall oblige the Client to complete the same, and any failure so to do may result in the CMBI being unable to provide services to our Client.
The Client understands that CMBI may provide the Data received from the Client to any CMBI Group Member or Governmental, regulatory or other bodies or institutions, whether as required by law, regulations applicable to any CMBI Group Member, or otherwise.
The Client understands that the purposes for which the Data provided by the Client from time to time may be used are:-
- Providing services in connection with any account maintained with CMBI, whether the services are provided by or through any CMBI Group Member or any other person;
- Marketing existing and future services or products of any CMBI Group Member;
- Forming part of the records of the persons or any CMBI Group Member to whom the Data may be passed;
- Observing any legal, regulatory or other requirements to which any CMBI Group Member or any other persons may be subject; and
- Other purposes related or incidental to any one or more of the above.
The Client understands that the Client may request a copy of such Data. The Client also understands that the Client may request the correction of the Data. Any such request may be addressed to the Data Protection Officer of CMBI at the address of Rooms 1803-4, 18/F., Bank of America Tower, 12 Harcourt Road, Central, Hong Kong.
The Client understands that a fee shall be charged by the Company for any such request.
